Good morning beautiful blog readers!
Today I want to share a wonderful resource for all creatives: The Creative Collective website, and more importantly the Creative Matters Ebook. I have fallen in love with this book, and the best part...it's free! Here's a little summery on the ebook:
Creative Matters is a call to arms for all of us who endeavor to create beautiful, transcendent and transformational experiences in and around the Church. It’s a field guide of sorts…written by Creatives for Creatives… for those who work in the trenches of the “Create-On-Demand” challenges that every weekend brings. It’s a fresh perspective on the process, people, and purpose surrounding Creativity. It’s an invitation to live and work in a way that is both inspired and inspiring. And it’s the kind of kick-in-the-pants that we all need and will come back to again and again. The book is compiled by a number of fantastic creatives (such as Promise Tangeman, Lisa Gungor...), each presenting tips and encouragement on using your creative talents to glorify God. So amazing! How often do you find such beautiful people joining together to glorify God, and teaching others to do the same!
The Creative Collective site is a wonderful resource as it contains the Ebook download, various other helpful posts, videos, event dates, and a fancy hashtag to collaborate with other amazing creatives. Click HERE to head on over to their place. ;)
The Creative Matters Ebook is honestly exactly what I have needed to read! If you have ever had issues with figuring out how/why God has given you creative talents and how/why you are supposed to use them, read this! It has inspired me so much, and reminded me that GOD IS CREATIVE! Hello, He only created the whole world! He loves it when we use our artistic skills for His glory! This book contains inspiration, encouragement, helpful tips, challenges, and everything in-between. Check out the Ebook HERE!
All in all I love it and highly recommend it!
So get out there people! Whether you are a creative, a student, an intern, a parent, a plumber, a banker, a CEO, or whatever else: use your gifts for God's glory, today. ;)
Have a wonderful day everyone!
God Bless,
Megs
